Get Online Without
the Headache

A clear website that tells people what you do, makes it easy to reach you, and looks professional on the phone—without agency-scale overhead or a process that eats your week.

Cradlepoint Studio is accepting a limited number of small-business web projects at introductory portfolio rates. You are not buying “SEO magic.” You are buying a site customers can actually use.

What you get

Outcomes first. Features only when they serve them.

Small business owners do not wake up wanting semantic markup. They want the phone to ring, the quote form to get used, and the site to stop embarrassing the business on a customer’s phone.

Looks right on phones

Most customers will find you on mobile first. The site is designed there first so it stays readable, tappable, and clear.

Visitors know what you do

Clear structure and navigation so people are not left guessing services, location, or whether you are the right fit.

Words that explain the business

Copy refined so your offer sounds specific and professional—not generic template filler.

A presence that looks intentional

Color, type, and imagery that hold together so the business feels real and trustworthy online.

Obvious ways to contact you

Call, email, book, request a quote, or visit—made obvious instead of buried three clicks deep.

Local details where they matter

Address, hours, service area, and map links when customers need to find or schedule you.

Built so Google can read you

Titles, descriptions, and structure search engines can understand from day one—not ranking promises.

Connected to how you already work

Links to the social profiles, booking tools, or platforms you already use.

Domain and hosting without drama

Guidance choosing and connecting hosting so launch is not a scavenger hunt of logins.

Easy to read for more people

Contrast, hierarchy, and keyboard-friendly controls so the site is usable, not just pretty in a mockup.

Know if the site is working

Basic analytics so you can see whether people arrive and what they do next.

Launch that actually finishes

Domain connection, desktop and mobile checks, and a clean handoff—not a half-finished folder of files.

Ecommerce, membership systems, large databases, custom applications, and heavy ongoing content management are separate estimates when they are actually needed—not forced into every package.

Who this is for

Owners tired of explaining the business three times before anyone books.

This describes fit, not a claimed specialty in every trade. The work is clear business communication—not a vertical gimmick.

Pricing

Three clear starting points. One obvious default.

Most small businesses land on the Business package. Launch is for a first credible page. Custom is for deeper brand work or interaction. Final pricing follows scope.

Launch

Starting at $250

A single-page presence so people can find you and take the next step.

  • One phone-friendly scrolling page
  • What you do, in plain language
  • Services at a glance
  • Call, email, map, or booking links front and center
  • Clean visual styling that does not look thrown together
  • Basic setup so search engines can identify the business
  • One revision round
  • Launch help until it is live

Best when you only have social profiles or a directory listing today.

Custom

Starting at $900

When the business needs a stronger brand presence or non-standard interaction.

  • Page structures built around how you sell
  • Expanded brand treatment
  • Interactive elements when they earn their keep
  • Event or campaign landing pages
  • Portfolio or project galleries
  • Resource libraries for education-led sales
  • Advanced forms for complex inquiries
  • Embedded media and lightweight custom tools
  • More hands-on content support

Scoped individually. Final pricing depends on what the project actually needs.

After launch

Website Care Plans

The build is a one-time project. Care is optional insurance so the site does not quietly rot—security, backups, small updates, and a real human when something breaks. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. Not a hostage arrangement.

Website Care

$40/month

Keep the lights on and the small fires out.

  • Security and software updates
  • Broken link monitoring
  • Contact form testing
  • Monthly backups
  • Up to 30 minutes of content changes
  • Email support
  • Monthly health check

For owners who want the digital side to stop demanding attention.

Growth Partner

$150/month

A quiet outsourced web and marketing lane when the business is moving every month.

  • Everything in Business Care
  • Up to 3 hours of work each month
  • Landing pages
  • Blog or article posting
  • New service pages
  • Promotional graphics
  • AI-assisted copywriting
  • Monthly strategy check-in
  • Priority support

When “a few updates” is not enough and you still refuse to hire a full marketing department.

Included in care time

No surprise invoice for normal life

  • Update a phone number
  • Add a new employee
  • Replace photos
  • Update pricing
  • Add new services
  • Holiday announcements
  • New testimonials
  • New FAQ entries

Not included

These become separate quotes

  • Complete redesign
  • Online store / ecommerce build
  • Custom software
  • Booking systems from scratch
  • Large content rewrites
  • New branding systems

If a request would burn the month’s hours or change the product, you get a quote before work starts—not a surprise bill after.

What makes this different

Not only a website person. Automation-minded support.

Business Care and Growth Partner include an AI Business Assistant layer: short, practical drafting help that saves owners time without making them learn tools they never wanted.

  • Draft replies to customer emails
  • Rewrite Facebook posts
  • Generate monthly specials
  • Write holiday announcements
  • Summarize Google reviews
  • Generate FAQ answers
  • Draft hiring posts
  • Help write estimates

Fifteen focused minutes can replace an hour of staring at a blank box. You approve anything public. Nothing goes live unreviewed.

The longer horizon is quiet orchestration: site, Google Business, and social updates from one approved instruction—always with human review. The business is not “I only ship websites.” It is becoming the outsourced web, IT, and light marketing department for less than a part-time hire—so you can keep fixing cars, cutting hair, or running the shop.

Why the pricing is lower

Not cheap work. Portfolio-building rates.

Cradlepoint Studio is intentionally building its external client portfolio. Rather than charging full agency rates from day one, introductory pricing is available on a limited number of projects while establishing long-term client relationships.

You work directly with the person designing and building the site—no layers of project managers, no outsourced status emails, no mystery handoffs. Reduced price reflects portfolio stage and direct delivery, not disposable standards.

Completed work may be requested for the Studio portfolio, with your approval. Portfolio use is optional. Permission will be asked; it is never required as a condition of the project.

Process

Five steps. No black box.

  1. 01
    Review

You explain what the business does, what is failing online today, and what a good outcome looks like—calls, quotes, bookings, visits.

  2. 02
    Scope

You get a recommended package, deliverables, timeline, and any third-party costs before work starts—so the headache is priced, not discovered mid-build.

  3. 03
    Build

Structure, design, and content are assembled so a first-time visitor can understand the offer and take the next step.

  4. 04
    Revise

You review a real draft and return consolidated feedback within the included rounds—changes that improve clarity, not endless redesign loops.

  5. 05
    Launch

The site goes live on your domain and is checked on desktop and mobile so “done” means customers can use it.

Projects require clear scope approval and an initial deposit before work begins.

Payment and project terms

Plain-language working terms.

These describe how projects usually run. They are not formal legal advice and do not replace a written project agreement when one is issued.

Existing work

Internally developed properties that show current range.

VeilDaemon demonstrates immersive, branded, entertainment-focused design.

Cradlepoint Studio demonstrates professional, information-dense, business-facing design.

These are internally developed Cradlepoint properties and demonstrate the Studio’s current design and development range. They are not external client projects.

Project inquiry

Request a Project Review

Tell us what the business does, what is broken or missing online, and what customers should be able to do next. The Studio will respond if the project looks like a good fit. A submission is not a booking.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers.

Do I need to already own a domain?

No. You can purchase one during the project. Domain and DNS setup assistance is available as an optional add-on. Registration fees are paid by the client to the registrar.

Can you improve my existing website?

Often, yes—if the current stack can be cleaned up efficiently. Sometimes a rebuild is faster and more maintainable than patching a confusing or broken site. Scope is recommended after review.

Do you provide hosting?

Cradlepoint Studio can recommend, configure, or work with hosting, but ongoing hosting and platform charges are normally paid by the client. Hosting is not bundled as an unlimited free service.

Will I be able to update the site?

Yes. Sites are built so common changes are realistic for the owner. Optional Care Plans cover updates for you—month-to-month—so you never have to learn DNS because a form stopped emailing. Bigger work is quoted, not ambushed.

Do I have to buy a care plan?

No. Launch is complete without one. Care is optional insurance after the site is live: backups, monitoring, small updates, and help when something breaks. Cancel anytime. No hostage contracts.

Do you build ecommerce sites?

When catalog and checkout needs are clear, yes—as a scoped add-on. It is not part of Launch or Business packages by default.

Do you guarantee Google rankings?

No. The site is built so search engines can understand the business from day one. Rankings still depend on competition, location, content, and time. Guarantees are not offered.

Can you write the website copy?

Yes. Packages include refining your words so visitors understand the offer. Drafting from rough notes is available when writing is the bottleneck.

Can you use my existing logo and photos?

Yes, when you have the rights to use them. Logo cleanup is available if the mark needs to look sharp online.

How long does a site take?

A focused Launch page can often move in a few weeks. Business and Custom take longer. Speed depends on scope, content readiness, and how quickly feedback comes back.

Why is the pricing lower than a traditional agency?

Because Cradlepoint Studio is building its external client portfolio and keeps delivery direct. You work with the person building the site. Introductory rates on limited projects—not a race to the bottom, and not a disposable process. See Why the pricing is lower.

I’d rather build ten websites that genuinely help local businesses than a hundred forgettable templates. Every project is scoped individually and built with long-term maintainability in mind.
