CradlePoint: VeilSight has a revised edition. The story and the title are the same. The book reads cleaner, holds together better, and is now the first edition built end to end from its own manuscript.

What changed

  • The journey home. The trip home after the Alaska chapters is now an actual road journey. A small scene that had drifted out of place is back on the evening it belongs to. Character descriptions are consistent from first appearance on.
  • Character beats. A few key relationship moments got more room to land, and some interruptions that crowded them were trimmed.
  • The Veil stays strange. Lines that explained too much were pulled back, so what the characters notice stays something they noticed, not settled law.
  • Copy. A last pass of grammar and wording fixes.

How it was built

Earlier editions were patched from the previous release files. v49 is typeset directly from the manuscript, in the same print design. Every word in the PDF and EPUB is checked against that manuscript before release, and the files can be rebuilt byte for byte from source.

What did not change

The title, the price, and anyone's access. If you already own Book One, your claim link now delivers the v49 PDF, EPUB, and MOBI alongside the same wallpaper pack. The Creator Rights Record keeps its permanent address and adds version 4 without rewriting earlier versions.
