Support

How can we help?

Quick answers for the things people actually get stuck on. If none of these fix it, a person is one message away.

Purchases

Book One & digital files

I bought Book One. Where are my files?

Go to app.veildaemon.app/book-one, and sign in with the same email you used at checkout. Once your payment is verified, private downloads for the PDF, EPUB, MOBI, and wallpaper pack appear on that page.

My download link stopped working.

That's expected. Download links are short-lived on purpose. Download again from the same page and you'll get fresh ones. Your purchase stays on record.

Do I get updated editions?

Yes. Direct buyers keep access when the shelf receives updated files, and your downloads deliver the current edition.

I bought through the itch storefront.

Purchases made on play.veildaemon.app live in your itch.io library, and itch.io handles those downloads and receipts. If something about the files themselves is wrong, tell us.

The Book One page doesn't show my purchase.

Check that you're signed in with the checkout email, not a different address. If it still fails, send a support message with that email and roughly when you bought. Never include card numbers.

Operator & Handler saves

Will signing in or out erase my characters or campaigns?

No. Operator and Handler save to your browser and work fully without an account. Signing in or out never wipes those saves.

How do I back up or move my saves?

In Operator, use Export Local Backup. In Handler, use Export Handler Backup. Restore the file in another browser or device with the matching Restore button.

My saves disappeared.

Saves are tied to one browser on one device. Clearing site data, private windows, and switching browsers all start fresh. Restore from a backup if you have one, then make backups a habit.

Registry

Creator Rights

Where are my records?

Your records live under Account → Rights. The public side is the Registry, and the Creator Toolkit explains the framework.

I want to license something listed in the registry.

Use the license link on the record itself, or send a licensing message naming the record.

Accessibility

If something gets in your way, that's a bug

Studio pages are built to work with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, and small screens. If a page blocks you, a description of what happened is enough. You don't need technical language.
