Like many projects, this one began with a complaint.
Specifically:
"I have to buy ISBNs? That's dumb."
The original plan was simply to publish a novel.
Then came digital distribution.
Then payment processing.
Then secure delivery.
Then account ownership.
Then private libraries.
Then entitlement management.
Eventually it became obvious that the infrastructure being built wasn't just supporting a single book.
It was becoming a publishing platform.
Today that platform has a name.
VeilBorn Publishing.
What started as frustration with traditional publishing slowly evolved into a system designed to let readers recover books, game materials, audio, and Archive artifacts from a single connected library.
Sometimes innovation begins with a grand vision.
Sometimes it begins because something annoyed you enough that you decided to build the entire alternative yourself.
This project appears to belong to the second category.
