← Development record

Three days of making it obvious what can be bought, where, and what happens after you click.

Web design became an offer

On September 20, SigilForge web design went from "get in touch" to fixed packages with direct Stripe checkout. A click-to-text contact route went in beside the form, for people who would rather send a message than fill out one more field.

Studio offers say what they are

On September 21, Studio offers were rewritten so each one states what you actually get. Book One signup now leads straight into checkout, with no dead end in between.

VeilLink stopped pretending to be one product

VeilLink started life as the account layer for Book One and the Cell. Its front page had slowly become a marketing page for whichever product touched it last. On September 22 it was rebuilt:

  • The VeilLink root is a product-neutral portal, and /home is the signed-in hub.
  • Live-Link intent no longer routes through a marketing page. It goes where you meant to go and keeps your sign-in intent along the way.
  • /pricing became a SigilForge catalog hub with clear paths for Book One, the TTRPG, Operator and Handler, VeilLink, and VeilDaemon. QR product detail moved to /links/pricing.

The Studio pages also got a mobile pass covering navigation, card grids, and footers.

One deploy lesson

VeilLink and the root API are separate hosting projects. A green check on one is not proof the other shipped, and exactly that confusion left VeilLink on a stale build once. The VeilLink deploy now fails closed if it is pointed at the wrong project.
