The public record starts on May 16, 2026, when the CradlePoint Archives opened. The project is two years older than that. None of what follows was an announcement. It is here so the public dates do not look like spontaneous generation.
May 2024: inception
This is the earliest date the project claims for itself, and the preserved beta manuscript still carries it: Original Project Inception: May 2024.
June – July 2025: Resonance of the Void becomes CradlePoint
By June 2025 Book One existed as a full draft titled Resonance of the Void. On June 24 it began its transition to The CradlePoint Archives: The Anchor and the Glitch. The old file was treated as the obsolete beta by June 28, the Archives workspace was active on June 29, and a newer full manuscript replaced the beta on July 2. The full story is here.
July 2, 2025: the VeilDaemon repository
It was created the same day as the replacement manuscript. A cloud project followed on July 13, and Pages deployments were running by August 6. In August the repository was mostly a Python toolkit for stream persona work, with an event bus, a stage director, and text-to-speech. That package still lives there.
Autumn 2025: working copies
The manuscript existed as a working document by October 29. A Scrivener project, still under the old Resonance of the Void name, was created on November 9, and edits continued there into May 2026. By November 12 there was also an EPUB.
November 21, 2025: the TTRPG gets a repository
The CradlePoint TTRPG repository was created. Two days later it already had a resonance arc and emotional-weather tools for the Handler.
December 6, 2025: CradlePoint crosses into VeilForge
VeilForge, the studio's local AI runtime, took in CradlePoint message packs for its terminal interface. It is the first commit where the universe and the tooling started contaminating each other.
February 14, 2026: the TTRPG corpus
The ontology, Player Handbook v1.1, the Monster Manual, and the larger Complete Books corpus were all present and being indexed. The system existed three months before anyone outside could see it.
