Until July 11, anyone who wanted to know who made any of this had to find the terminal, get through intake, and draw their own conclusions.
Day one
The Studio home page went up, then a portal restructured around subpages for projects, publishing, funding, a public data room, and privacy and terms. There was also a media-usage page and a rule that web display images are WebP. Most of the day went to making the portal art actually readable, because the first door art was nearly black.
Day two
- A packaged press room.
- A technology page centered on the live platform rather than a pitch.
- Publishing, linked straight to real products.
- The founder origin story.
- VeilForge, the studio's local AI runtime, added to the Studio pages and positioned as its own tool.
- Funding copy rewritten to say plainly what a contribution does.
The name
It launched as Cradlepoint Studio. That lasted thirteen days, until July 24, when SigilForge Studios took over.
This is where the site stopped being only the strange terminal you found in a ditch and started also being the front door of a studio.
