Media usage guidance

Public rules for editorial coverage, reviews, interviews, and partnership evaluation. Effective as published on the Studio site. Flag for founder or counsel review before formal licensing agreements.

Brand architecture

Keep these identities separate

Cradlepoint Studio

Founder-operated studio and business identity. Preferred name for the public site and real-world practice.

VeilDaemon

Public product / platform. Use for the live software and companion tools.

VeilCorp

Fictional in-universe organization. Not a real-world endorser, contracting party, or the studio’s legal name.

Approved uses

What you may do with press materials

Editorial and evaluation

Editorial coverage, reviews, interviews, and partnership evaluation.

Attribution

Non-commercial attribution when describing the studio or products. Prefer “Cradlepoint Studio” for the real-world studio and business identity and “VeilDaemon” for the software. Credit J. Donavon Love where a creator credit is appropriate.

Assets

Use provided logos, founder image, product art, and software art without cropping out trademarks in misleading ways. Label VeilCorp marks as in-universe / diegetic when context matters. Preserve metric context (periods, “$0 paid acquisition,” production vs market validation).

Restrictions

Please do not

Ship fiction as product

Do not present concept or planned work (Mobile AR, Ritual Sites) as currently shipping products.

Invent marks

Do not alter logos into new brand marks.

Real-world VeilCorp

Do not imply endorsement by VeilCorp as a real-world corporation, or present VeilCorp as the negotiating party on real-world contracts.

Studio and VeilCorp marks

Use the approved Cradlepoint Studio logo for the real-world studio and business identity. Keep VeilCorp marks in explicitly fictional, diegetic contexts.
